New customers get 0% BT for 27 months.

It's impossible to know whether you would have been successful if you closed the account, waited and then applied as a new customer. However they would have access to the same information about your credit history whether you had closed the account or not, so I don't see why they would care.0 -
Thanks but that doesn't bother me as I will have it paid off within 18 months.
Also it means I haven't had an extra application on my 'credit file' so other options might be more available.
With the BT I will also be paying off the Cap One and closing it so they will definitely offer me something - they always do. I will try to find something better than Cap One though as they only ever offer me 6 months' 0%.
The point is I am moving onwards and upwards at last.0
