LPG Usage

Moved into a property with an LPG tank in the middle of October. At the time there was 80%, currently it is down to 10%. In two and a half months just over 70% has been used. It is a three bedroom detached dormer bungalow, how normal is this usage?
I have also realised that the LPG boiler hasn't been serviced in five years. Could this been the reason why?

How many litres have you used ?

It's a 1410 litre tank, so I work it out to be about 987 litres.

Say 1000 litres at 7kWh/l = 7000 kWh over 10 weeks. The same as 9 gas units a day, high but not impossible. The boiler not being serviced may have some impact but lifestyle use is more likely the cause. How long is the heating on for, how warm is the house, how hot is the water set, not got an Aga ? .................. or maybe the gauge is duff I guess the only way to tell is to get a fill up.

I didn't think about the gauge being faulty.

There are three adults in the house and we all work different shifts. So it comes on at 5am before a family member goes to work, and goes back off at 6am. Then comes back on at about 8am when another family member wakes up, until about 4pm, by that time the first family member is home and it stays on until 10pm and a temperature of 20 degrees.

I suppose now that I think about it, we do use a lot due to all of our work patterns.
