asda cash back credit card

Options
hi all

i have recently got an asda cash back credit card. i had earned about £21 in cash back and was going to use the voucher yesterday so i raised the voucher and had it sent to my email address. however, i changed my mine and went to M&S to shop instead.

last night, i cancelled the voucher on the asda credit card site. the system allowed me to do this and the balance on my cash back was just over £21 last night before i went to bed. i would have assumed that the cash back would just filter back in to be used at a different time.

however, i logged in to the asda credit card site this morning and my cash back is £21 lower than it was before bedtime. this is most concerning. i have asked asda (it may be creation finance; the guys who provide the care) to investigate and they are due to come back to me.

my question is: has anyone had this before with asda cc? do you think the cash back is lost? i haven't been able to find anything in the T&C to say that this is the case?

thanks
cc

  • I imagine it will just take some time while everyone faffs around with undoing vouchers and putting all the points back where they need to go.
