As I said it is complicated and open to interpretation, so unless you're a VAT officer, I don't value your opinion! If I sell something zero rated the postage & packing (which is added on) is sold with VAT included and not at zero rate.

I bought a usb memory stick for 99p & £3.99 P&P...I was charged 88p VAT ...Yes I did not read the small print ..
My question is .Can they charge VAT on P&P ?
