Thank you SA.
The second window loan DD came out today so another £15 paid off the capital.
It was a very late finish this evening so am ready for sleep! There’s lots of rearranging and preparation to do in readiness for Monday.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Thank you SH.
Work has been busy getting ready for next week, which resulted in extra time being put in. Unfortunately the ex’s behaviour overshadowed the second half of the week ☹️.
MSE wise I’ve paid another £50 off so the debt balance is a little bit lower. I’ve got a second sow of tomatoes done and sown some lettuce. Hoping to grab a few minutes in the sunshine and sow some more.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Sorry to read your ex has been a twonk again.
How far along are you with the divorce now? I think the last thing you mentioned was having to do your Form E again as the last one was 18mths old.
Are you hoping to stay in the family home or will you have to buy elsewhere?5 -
Thank you Janb5 & EE.
Communication and respect are not the ex’s forte - some items ( of mine) that were in the house when I left for work one day were not in the house when I got back. The sheer lack of respect frustrates me ☹️.
EE - wading through Form E. Not sure what will happen re the house. That is part of the reason I’m trying to get rid of the debt ASAP, so as to put me in the best position for getting a mortgage on my own. Last time I checked about mortgages, it looked unlikely due to number of dependents, so I might need to rent. In one way I don’t want to put the children through the upheaval of moving but equally I don’t believe boundaries will be respected unless I do.
Today has been up and down. My sleep this week has been really erratic. I’ve got early starts 4 days a week to get DD1 to work, which is fine, but it’s caught up with me today and I’ve been battling a headache, which I usually only get when I’m ridiculously tired. I did all that was essential today, then went to bed and slept for 3 hours.
I did manage to get some seeds sown - Beetroot, a sweet pea variety called Fire and Ice and Gaura, which is quite a bushy plant that has beautiful white or pink flowers, useful as fillers in cut flower bunches. While I was sowing the seeds outside, I noticed that the miniature irises were in flower - a rich purple colour. I will try and photograph tomorrow. The cerinthe seedlings are through and the first sow of tomatoes are looking sturdy🙂. After the Apple tree incident I confess I did purchase a pair of pear trees from Mr T, that I have planted in very large pots. There is plenty of room for root growth. I thought that the trees could either go in the ground at a later date or come with us if we have to move.

So sorry to hear about Ex's behaviour, it must be upsetting and unsettling for you. The plants sound lovely, though. You have me wanting pear trees now, though I've nowhere to put them.
I looked up Fire and Ice and they sound great: the scent of sweet peas is redolent of summer to me.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
