Lasting Power of Attorney online application - fee due if form not sent?

Good evening, I am a long time lurker on the forums and never needed to ask a question until now!
I am helping my dad complete a LPA and we decided the online way is easier so went through the form and got it largely completed. At the end it asks if we want to pay online or by cheque. Clicked on cheque and it then finalised the form and gave us an application reference, however one section we had not completed. We therefore wont submit this form to the OPG.
I have read in some areas that the fee is non-refundable on application. I wondered have I messed up big time here. I haven't actually paid any money as selected cheque and we haven't actually sent any forms to the OPG. Therefore do we owe them money (i.e. will they chase us for this?).
I have sent them an email however of course it is now Friday night so they wont be open until Tuesday and we don't want to stress about it over the weekend...
We did get an automated email which stated "If you have paid the LPA registration fee but not sent in the LPA form to be registered, we will send you a reminder email 20 days after payment. If we have still not received the LPA 40 days after the payment date, we will refund the fee to the account it was paid from."
Im sure this answers my question in that fees arent due unless we actually send the form but what I have read elswhere conflicts a bit with this so I am a little anxious.
I would be grateful if someone could put my mind at rest before I can actually speak to the OPG on Tuesday.
Thanks in advance.

Nothing for you to worry about as you don't owe them any money until you send in the forms to them for processing. The money you pay is for the cost of registration, no fee is payable just for using the online service. This is confirmed by the automated email telling you about getting a refund after 40 days if you paid online but did not send in the forms.0

Thanks pphilips for putting our minds at rest. After seeing the text I was quoted in their email auto reply about refunding the fee after 40 days I was a little less worried. It was just confusing as if paying online it clearly stated it was non-refundable.
I assume they mean it is non-refundable once they have received the forms and begun to process them.0
