Hi,

Had Sse smart meters installed the other day which they seem to be OK so far.

Just wondering if anyone has them fitted by this company because especially the gas alert which the meter stays red maybe after shower or heating Been on and turned off? I'm wondering if it's a long delay in the gas units talking to each other to say it's off now because the electric seems more or less straight.

Possibly.

I've just had smart meters fitted from SG and my display only updates gas readings on the hour and half hour so if gas is used just after the hour or half hour it isn't displayed until the next update time.

No light changing colour just a flame.

The electricity is updated every 30 seconds and it even shows the difference when a 4 watt LED light is switched on and off.

There is a light for the electricity which changes between green, yellow and red depending on the amount of electricity used, red when the tumble dryer is on for instance.
