I keep thinking of the Amazon prime, but it always comes down to why do they strangle certain features.
I understand as mentioned only certain brands allowing them to show shows/films etc. But looking at the echo dot and it will only connect to one bluetooth item. But i want it to play music from one room to the next as i move around during the day and play on whichever speaker is in the room im moving to. One option mentioned was have a dot in every room. Err no thanks...

We've had a Netflix subscription for 3 years now, and haven't run out of things to watch yet. We do like binge viewing on box sets.
I think Netflix is worth every penny, largely because of the complete lack of advertising. Netflix has some unusual and interesting films and documentaries.
We did a free trial of Prime, but were disappointed that so many of the movies have an additional charge.
I keep paying the TV licence for the BBC's political coverage, although I think Sky are better for news.0 -
Depends what you like to watch OP.
Im a fan of the Netflix original programming.0 -
Another boost for Amazon Prime is that they now have the complete Seinfeld available.

I thought the same about NowTV, which I had a 14 day trial for last week. Literally every film required a full subscription and so I was left wondering what on earth one gets for the monthly fee. I swiftly cancelled and am now trying Prime.0

I've had Netflix for a couple of years now ... still finding plenty to watch.
I'm also trying a trial of Prime just now ... will decide in a couple of weeks whether to continue and pay the £79 annual fee. (Equivalent to £6.58 per month, so cheaper than Netflix yet you also get deliveries included for purchases on Amazon).0
