wndscreen repair not needed?

Just found a small chip on my windscreen less than a match head, looked on my Aviva make a claim and an Autoglass screen opened, asked for car reg then which window and how many chips then what size so I chose match head. Answer came up 'repair probably not needed as this size will not affect the integrity of the windscreen' so what happens if it cracks later?
It actually looks like it was a rough stone that left three marks close together, two very small and one about a 2mm long.

The key word is their use of 'probably'. They aren't saying that it definitely won't be needed.

It's then up to you whether you want to risk it or not. Last time I called Autoglass out I think I paid about £10 for the repair (I believe it's free through some insurers). If you're concerned it might just be worth paying it and getting them out.

One thing I'm not sure about is whether there is a minimum size that they can repair (i.e. is your chip too small for them to repair)? Might be worth calling them and booking over the phone rather than online.
