in Credit cards
Hi guys been a long time since I last posted, following my financial disaster in 2010 I have kept off the credit radar for the last 7 years and tried to put things right.
Well, thought I would try my luck with getting back on the credit ladder and to my surprise Aqua have accepted me for a classic card with an APR of 59.9%, no idea what limit yet so just waiting for the card to arrive.
Feels good to be getting back on the straight and narrow again and learnt many lessons over the last 7 years on managing money and not allowing myself to get in to the trouble I was in last time (relationship break down ).
Wonder how many of the regulars from way back when are still around, the Sub Prime Credit Club was a regular haunt and can't see it on the boards anymore so guess it died off.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Very high APR. Just use it wisely. Pay off in full every month and time will heal your damaged credit rating.I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0

I will use it for fuel and clear it each month with my business mileage claim.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. You might want to try Capital One their max APR is 34.9% and they have a quick check to see if you will be accepted before they carry out a full search.0

Yep tried them and they said no.
I am not actually in need of credit, the only purpose this Aqua card will be used for is to rebuild my credit rating, not sure what the limit will be however I would hazard a guess it will not be any more than £100-£200.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? Well that is the plan, use it for fuel and then bank my business mileage each week until the statement comes in from Aqua, pay the balance in full and do this for a year. Once I have had the card for a year then will look at something with a lower APR, 12 months good payment history should be enough to get me back on the lower tier rate.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? Good to see you back. I have the Aqua card, just got it last month. £300 limit, 30 something percent interest but can't remember exactly how much. Spent up to my limit and just cleared the first bill in full. Just happy to have the card!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

I have had a Aqua card for around 14 months - started of with a limit of £300 now im over 3k.
I also just yesterday go a letter to say they are reducing my interest - i tend to pay balances of in full every month.
Since then i've applied and been Tesco foundation card - much better APR and recently got a credit limit increase.
I currently have 5 active defaults but im pay towards my defaults every month and ensuring that i dont put a foot wrong. I think having access to a monthly credit report along with the information of this site certain helps you get a better understanding. Shame as I totally screwed up my credit history in my younger years and could have avoided the defaults by just paying min payments we live and learn.0
