I buy my husband's socks from Go Outdoors as he's a fearsome picky mortal. He's an H&J aficionado, but sourcing those at sensible prices is a bit tough.

The discount card pays for itself easily & it's nice to have a choice of merino as well as other fibres.

we had a little tour round los angeles a few years back,the cheapest thing you could buy on rodeo drive was a pair of mens socks for 30 quid!!!
