Transferring music onto Clip Jam MP3 Player

Hi

I just got a Scan Disk Clip Jam MP3 Player and I am now trying to transfer music from my computer onto the player. The music on my PC is stored on my Windows Media Player and I don't know how to transfer it onto the MP3 player. I tried a couple of things but they did not work.

I also have music saved on my PC in a music folder which I can transfer across onto the MP3 player. Can anyone advise how I move the music from Windows Media Player into the music folder on my PC where I can then transfer it onto my PMP3 Player or advise how to move it directly from Windows Media Player onto the MP3 player.

All help greatly appreciated.
Val :)

Windows media Player has a music library, but the actual music files are stored in folders on the PC.
By default that is in your 'Music' folder, in the Public Music folder, and also the One Drive Music folder (if you have one).

So to transfer to the MP3 player you just have to locate those folders and do as bsod says and copy and paste through Windows Explorer.

You can also do this through WMP, but that depends on it recognising the MP3 player, so it sometimes doesn't work.
But if it does recognise it as a device, then it's just a matter of dragging music from the library to it.

As per #3, with the addition of this step; when you connect the mp3 player to the PC, go to My Computer, or Computer, or Explorer, to show all the drives on the PC. The Sandisk should show clearly as a removable drive. Open this drive, and go to the folder where the music should go. This should be specified in the manual for the player. You DO have the manual, don't you? (Chapter 4, Page 10 of the online one at http://downloads.sandisk.com/downloads/um/clipjam-um.pdf)

Leaving this folder open, open up your Music or My Music folder on the PC.

Select the files you want to have on the player. Copy these to the clipboard with Ctrl+C or Edit, Copy from the menus

Go to the player folder and paste them there with Ctrl+V or Edit, Paste
