Hi,
We are in process of fitting our kitchen IKEA Metod.
Is the "Metod suspension rail" type of fitting better than the normal way ? Which method is more robust ?
Thanks
Sally

It works well, however take the time ensure its flat, and if your walls bulge below either pack out the rail so that it stands off the wall to compensate for the uneven wall, or remove the feet that are added to the back of the cabinets. Make sure when you tighten the screws for the rail it doesn't twist as you tighten them. Using the rail is especially well suited to stud walls as you can hang the rail off the studs.0

We fitted our kitchen using the rail. As others have said, if the walls are flat it is really easy. Feels so secure once it's up.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
