I ordered an item online for "click and collect" through Argos. Clicked and then collected. Gave the item to my mum for Christmas, it works perfectly.
Just a little reflection of normality amongst a sea of "I got this for Christmas and it never arrived/didn't work/wasn't what I wanted" threads.
Of course I understand that on a consumer board we only get the problems, but in reality most transactions go really well.
(I may return for advice if the product stops working properly in less than six years

Similarly I did a click and collect from Maplins (through Quidco to get some cashback), I had the items in my hands less than an hour after placing the order.0

Maybe you should've posted this in the praise, vents, warnings forum instead.harrys_dad wrote: »I ordered an item online for "click and collect" through Argos. Clicked and then collected. Gave the item to my mum for Christmas, it works perfectly.

People make successful transactions every minute of every day, otherwise businesses would collapse rather than make huge profits!harrys_dad wrote: »Just a little reflection of normality amongst a sea of "I got this for Christmas and it never arrived/didn't work/wasn't what I wanted" threads.
You seriously wanted to "counterbalance" a forum dedicated to Consumer Rights? :eek:0 -
