Something has come adrift ?
How to get to the 'inside' of door to have a look ???/ There are no screws to be seen holding the 'card' to the door. How ??????

MOT due in 6 days. Assume this will be a failure ??

I bet a garage will charge a £££££ to sort his

Any info or ideas appreciated

thanks

Most door panels are fixed by push in studs. Remove everything screwed to the door through the panel then try levering the panel away from the door. Start at the bottom.
  • Wow, Google is amazing. Search for 'Vectra C door card removal' and the first link is:

You cant find the three screws which are not hidden at the bottom of the door! Better get it booked in then.

You will probably find that some expensive plastic piece has broken off inside anyway.

Bit late now, but on my [STRIKE]Renault[/STRIKE] Nissan there is a known problem with the child safety lock activating on the front door.

All Renault did to make a rear lock into a front one was miss out the little arm that you flick to set the child lock, leaving the rest of the works to sometimes set itself when you slam the door. It can be reset by fiddling from the outside.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))
