Vinyl shower panels

The shower in our en-suite is tiled, the grout is unsightly. Im fed up with looking at it, and cleaning it.
Futhermore, the scilicon sealant around the bottom is black in places.
So, Im thinking of ripping of the tiles and putting large vinyl panels in place. Coloured, maybe a pattern, maybe a scenery, etc.
I'm assuming that there will still be scilicon sealant at the bottom, and probably in the corner where the walls meet.
But generally, there wont be lots of ugly tile grouting to go dark and manky.
Anyone done this, have a few pointers, what to look out for etc?
Thanks

you do now get epoxy grout - a lot more robust and water tight than the old stuff
Looked at mold free silicon sealant a number of years ago, and the best then was made by Unibond, as the others were less resistant.0 -
Epoxy should only be used by competent tilers. Once cured it is near impossible to remove
Unibond is retail brand , for those who believe what it says on the tube
Dow Corning or Mapei make the best sealants and have done for the last 30yrs that I've worked with themHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Perhaps these panels are called acrylic, I'm not sure if that's the same thing or not0

Leave the tiles on and buy 250mm wide panels and glue straight onto tile with an MS Polymer.
