Clearscore financial association/alias

My latest Clearscore report just came through. It accurately reflects that I just had a hard search from Leeds Building Society as my wife and I just had a mortgage AIP through them. The report now financially links my wife and I (again, no issue with that).

However, the report also links me to my wife's maiden name. For our purposes let's say her full maiden name was Elise Juliet Gardiner; my report now lists her 'aliases' (i.e. previous names) as both 'Miss Elise J Gardiner' and, oddly, 'Elise J Elise Juliet Gardiner', which is kind of weird and wrong. Any ideas why this is? And will it cause us any problems?

Oh, and all this has made my imaginary made-up number go down :rotfl:

  • Personally I have a middle name that I don't use that shows up on my report because that's what's on the electoral register but I never add it to credit applications. Hasn't affected me in any way.

I don't know if your situation will be different but thought I would add my experience.
