Need help please. Son bought me a smartphone (did tell him not to spend a lot on one because I mainly wanted for taking pictures of receipts for cashback site). Problem is, it does not take clear images. Camera is 5 million pixels. Anybody know if I can improve the images. TIA

should take clear images. have you tried focusing images first? you could also try using apps like google photoscan or microsoft lens for taking images of receipts"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

Don't take this the wrong way but, if the phone is new (Christmas?), you have peeled the plastic film off the lens, haven't you?0

Wouldn`t take anything the wrong way because it is something I would probably miss but I had that thought this morning (quick I`m not) and could not see any extra film covering the outside of the lens. Have taken off the descriptive cover.Don't take this the wrong way but, if the phone is new (Christmas?), you have peeled the plastic film off the lens, haven't you?0 -
Have tried downloading the above but it won`t let me do it. Wonder if it because I have no credit on phone yet so will try it later.dipsomaniac wrote: »should take clear images. have you tried focusing images first? you could also try using apps like google photoscan or microsoft lens for taking images of receipts0
