Hi, I asked a little while ago about laptops, now looking to actually buy one. I see this one, is abit cheaper at the moment, though over what I was going to spend, wondered if its worth paying for

Initially, I was looking for a laptop for web design/developing practise on, but Im considering studying with Open Uni next year, and was thinking about a laptop for that. I like the fact its covertible too, but are there any simialr as good but cheaper?
cheers

I have a Yoga convertible and to be honest I pretty much never use it in any mode other than standard laptop, so unless you really think you will make use of the other modes I would see if there are equivalent laptops at a lower price.0

Thanks for that.
Never used a 2 in 1 but I'm often on my phone so I'd probably use it as a tablet too.
Though if there was a laptop a fair bit cheaper for the same specs I'd probably consider that0 -
This is FHD and has 256gb SSD. May not be as pretty as the lenovo but it's quite a bit cheaper (price of this unit is £30 higher than it was a couple of weeks ago unfortunately).

Is that the one that got spanked by a 3 year old Lenovo Yoga on a recent episode of the Gadget Show when they did an article about whether it was better to buy used high end tech a few years old or new entry/midrange?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I was tempted to go for the 710s in the end, but since read alot about fan noises, there doesnt seem to be a fix for! Annoying.
Im tmpted by the ideapad now, but no offer on it currently so is still £550, which isnt bad but annoying 4 weeks ago was £5000
