I read somehwere on the Halifax website (forgot where) about changing current accounts. This can be done. Just speak to someone in branch0

yes you can change from an ulitimate reward to a money back. its not called a downgrade, but a redesignation
all insurances will stop at that date and the high interest
in branch you can sign a form to redesignate. be careful what date of the month you do it as no refund for the £10 if partial month0 -
are they still offering their cashback debit card?0

no, they haven;t done for a long time digp, existing cardholders that qualify still do0

They may not be promoting it, but it is still offered. http://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/moneybackcurrentaccount.asp0 -
oops sorry guys I totally mis-read. They do still do the moneyback debit card. I thought you meant credit card
They do, do the debit card. In branch they give you options between all accounts for you to decide, so they still do talk about it M Thomson0 -
