Welcome all new members!
Everyone has been added to the list
Good Luck!
I am so sorry to have not posted here or updated anybody,
I was away for new years and also Christmas was hetic in the end.
I have decided to start on January the 1st
as the Christmas period was a busy one for me and was hard for me to track & save
on top of everything going on.
I am looking to getting a few items taken off my gadget insurance that I no longer need,
as well as this I have cancelled some subscriptions too.
It's really good to hear everyone taking small steps owards their goals!
Keep it going!

snozberry that's a really good start!
Maybe try only limit the amount of money you take with you to work
or leave your card at home and take cash?
nickynoo08 Awesome start!

I was paid more than I thought I would on the 5th of Jan,
* put £270 away in my savings
* Created a budget to cover bills, savings,me and for "us" (me & my partner to cover date nights and my share of buying food)
* Created a finance book to help me be accountable
* Asked my gadget insurance to take off 2 gadgets and try and cut my bill down a little
* I'm also off this week as I have a really bad viral infection (got sent to A&E on sunday thinking it was appendicitis as judged by the emergency doctor) so I wont be near any shops at allFuture Home Fund£1,702.67/£3,000 **EF £22.00/£1000** #575SPC £59.80/£100.000 -

Great ideas - thanks
I never have much cash on me but I can't leave the house without my bank cards - my anxiety wouldn't allow it!
Day 21 and I now have £658.40 through a combination of avoiding Amaz0n and yh shops!0 -
I totally get that - it's one of the reasons why I always have mine on me
I am trying to be more vigilant with what I use my card for.
I've potted £7.00 into my savings pot & Moved £30.00 into my online savings account today.
I'm going to try and transfer a little bit of money each time I know I wont be using it to help me save it and not spend.
I've also started keeping a record of my finances to see how much I am spending in each of the catagories I've laid out. But I do need to tweak this a little as I've missed out some for this month and became panicy about working out my finances after.
I'm creating a list for ways to save during this challenge, if anyone is interested
Keep up the good work!Future Home Fund£1,702.67/£3,000 **EF £22.00/£1000** #575SPC £59.80/£100.000 -
