I received a reply back from DVLA today saying 'I can confirm that I have checked your vehicle record for the above registration number and to date there have been no enquiries'

I have also not had any more contact from ukcps.

It looks like i have had my final letter from UKCPS.
Letter stating final notice before court proceedings are instigated, I have the next 7 days to pay. Also mentions the typical breakdown of costs following court action, could exceed £250.

I am sticking to my story, I purchased a ticket.

  • I'm just going to sit tight on mine at the minute, I figured I'd get a few empty threats when I didn't pay the fine

I had forgotten about this until this morning.
Just received a letter from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus Ltd) asking me to settle the parking charge of £160. If i don't settle they will recommend our client to take court action against me.

Thanks for the link. Its been so long without any contact, I thought an update would be good, even if only to help me keep track of its history.
I'll just file any debt collectors letters.

You will probably get another final reminder. That will be followed by a very final reminder.

After that a "we really mean it final reminder". Then various offers to pay before they do something serious.
