So long as you don't need to borrow money (and don't have any bad debts recorded against you), you will not face major difficulties.
For a start, you have a UK bank account. Ask for an overdraft facility: not in order to borrow, but so that you record shows you as having a credit history. Also ask if they can provide some kind of credit card.0 -
When you come from abroad, you are best to apply in person/over the phone rather than online, because as you have discovered most online forms do not support abroad addresses. On the phone, that is not a problem.0
