Peugeot 206 radio help!

Hi. I passed my test last week and I am now driving a 2000 Peugeot 206. The car radio is locked as the previous owner has replaced the battery before I collected the car. I would like to know if I remove the radio and replace with a cd player, will the pin be bypassed and I can therefore use the cd player? Or will I still need to put a pin in even after having a cd player fitted? I don't want to pay for a cd player and fitting if it will not solve the locked radio issue!

If you intend replacing it with another unit, then make sure this new unit has a working code .
If you require a code then post your request in this "Car Radio Unlocking" thread.
