    Thanks for the welcome all!

Bob, a lesson in Signatures 101 would be very helpful. Am I right that they are all records of challenges taken part in / debt cleared - that kind of thing? Not sure what to put for mine? Am a bit scared to admit the level of debt on my signature - but maybe it would be motivating to see it reduce.

I really love the womble challenge though - I like the idea of having small achievements each day, as the big milestones are going to take some time to reach.

Today I am running home: £1.60 bus fare wombled.

Welcome:Kumamon:) I think it's ok to add as much or as little as you like to your signature. If you're not comfortable with providing your total debt just leave it until you are. This is a great thread.Really good fun. Little amounts are truly motivating and everyone is really friendly.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Got a free 1800 till spit from Mr M's Emporium of foods this morning, if I spend £20 in the next 3 days - it will take me over 5000 points so a free £5 voucher.

Luckily I have just run down the freezer, so I will do a shop and get my free fiver till spit to spend on luxury items.

There are loads of 'making £1 a day' and other challenges you will find as you look around the site, the 'old school (O/S) moneysaving is a brilliant site to have a look around in. It always has something that will save you money.

Have a rummage around the site and just have fun. You have so much you can learn on here that you never knew you even needed to think about.

Nice telly womble TF - lucky thing!

Welcome to the wierd and wonderful world of wombling Kumamon. All thrifty souls loved by us :)

I wombled a double 13.5tog duvet yesterday. Brand new, never used. My friend ordered the wrong size (she needs kingsize) and she said she couldn't be bothered to return it. Ta muchly. I did swap her some eggs, so both parties were happy. I'm claiming £8 for this.

    Not much else to report.

Is that a thick one? I'm clueless on togs. Brilliant anyway whatever it is!

Exactly that. Challenges. Debt paid off. Mortgages paid off. Books read. Grocery spends.

You could start by listing how much you've repaid since whenever, rather than how much there is to go. What you owe is your business and doesn't have to be shared.

I agree. I have been here ages and the amount you can learn from others is so amazing. Plus the affect on your thinking in the real world can't be understated either. I often look around me on the bus and think, I wonder who here is a fellow MSEr :)
