Help with car v5c

Hi all, my useless car insurance company have decided to not pay out after my car was stolen. It was found and collected by the insurance companies breakers company. That was 5 months ago, and I have since moved house. I paid a private company to bring the damaged car here, but, and here is the question...

I gave the breaker the V5C. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to register the car back in my name?

Because the key was stolen (I assume as the spare is no longer in my possession), though I did not know, short version, Both my key fobs batteries ran out at the same time and I had to get the RAC out to get me into my car, both keys were on a table by my front door, I have since been told people use wires to steal keys through letterboxes? So the insurance company say that as there was no sign of forced entry into the car, that "on balance of probability", the theft did not occur.

Ask the breaker for the V5C back. Or apply for a new V5C / change of address amd lost document. You will need to pay £20 or so..

As long as they have not declared it destroyed etc.
