Divorce Decree Help *URGENT*

Hello,
My name is Laura and my husband to be has been divorced since before 2005 and he belives it was in Texas I tried to find it through Vital Statics I was able to find the marriage that happend in 2000 but I was not able to find the divorce.

His ex wife got re-married in 2005 and got divorced in 2010 which we found out through the help of his brother & sister we tried find her divorce in 2010 and were unable to find that as well.

The point is that she was able to re-marry and we want to get married before the end of Feburary 2017

He has not had contact with his ex wife since for over 10 years and has no idea where she would be living now or anything of that nature but it did come up as her name as a different last name from her maiden name or his last name when i tried to search for his using other website's.

I was reading up that Vital Statics could even find a Divorce in Texas if he was living somewhere else like say Minnesota for example and would be able to get it for him, Is this correct?

What's the urgency to get married before February? Can it not wait until all this is sorted out. His wife marrying is irrelevant to you as you should be absolutely.sure he's not committing bigamy. Is he American?

Yes he is an American Citizen let me copy and post what I found on her I will take her last name out for purposes though.

My 6 months visit would be up in Feburary as I am a Canadian Citizen.

And no were not marrying just because of that.

We are marrying because we both trully love each other with all of our hearts, and want to spend the rest of our life's together.

I don't know what I would do without him if i had to go back to Canada I have fallen deeply in love with him and don't ever want to be without him.

I tried searching both her maiden name and her new married name myself and there are about 20 by her name if not more, I have his family in contact with her.

And I think he still has her father on his messages I will ask him once he wakes up

OP, I'm not sure you are in the UK. If you're in the USA then there are probably better local forums there.

If you are in the US then get married in Nevada - no need to prove that he is divorced in order to obtain a marriage license.
