Hi random question but if I have a website:
https://www.random.com/abcd
what is the /abcd part called please? Is that called the subdomain or something else?
Is it also possible to search for all available /abcd (subdomain?) pages of a website?
Many thanks

Normally it's just a folder on the server but it could be set up as a subdomain.
If you have a domain called flintstones.co.uk, the flintstones.co.uk is the main domain and subdomains could be fred.flintstones.co.uk, barney.flintstones.co.uk, etc.
Sometimes flintstones.co.uk/fred could be set up as either as that or a redirect to fred.flintstones.co.uk.0 -
http = protocol
www = host name
random.com = domain
/abcd = path
If it was https://www.foo.random.com then foo would be a subdomain.
You may also see : and a number after the name and before the path, that is the port number, which defaults to 80 for http websites and 443 for https websites.
E.g. Http://www.random.com:8080/weasel0 -
Several programs out there to search within a domain.
Depends what you want to search for, and if its your site or someone elses?

Thanks for all the replies
It's not my website and I'd like to find all the /paths
Kind regards0 -
As above, "abcd" is a directory in the random.com domains.
This google search should help answer the question as to whether you can find all the /paths:
