    Currently got £5.80 worth.

Just before Christmas I took my coin tin in to the bank and used the coin machine thing. Think I got just over £100 but I hadn't been at it very long.

I keep looking round the house for more 20ps!
  • That's great.

I'm still potting the odd bits here and there.

Only just spotted this thread and I'm in if allowed. I made a money box from an empty margarine tub and just take the 20p coins out of my change every day and put them into the money box. So far I have exactly £10 since summer 2016

    Here's a pic:

Edit: I'm restarting for 2017 from scratch so right now I have nothing in my money box :) Looking forward to the next 20P I get in my change.
  • Great Idea Anthorn - Well done.

another 20p to add for me so total a massive ( lol) £2.00

  • I'm up too £7.20 after a quick count today. That's not bad.

I guess these days with contactless payments and credit and debit cards always on hand it's not always easier to use cash. I think I have a happy mixture of both, really. I'm also collecting fivers at the moment. :)
