iPad! Something happened. Help, please.

The 'surround' on Safari has gone black, instead of white, which looks annoying.

However, I'm having to log on to every site each time I go on. Obviously, I log out of banks, but stay on MSE and another forum.

Any ideas?

I think you have swapped over to Private mode, the logging in business is almost certainly that.

Click the 2 folders to the right of the plus sign on the tool bar and deselect private.

Oh, thank you so much!

I was a bit bothered as it coincided with a call from Brian in Calcutta, telling me that my internet connection would be cut off. I told him I can't manage without it, as I'm a police officer and need to be in contact with HQ. I suggested he ring them and gave him the number.
