    Just how fresh? As in still walking & giving you dubious looks, or as in large, chilled & ready to be tucked into the oven?

    I've a Canadian cousin who "brines" hers, which seems to consist of belated drowning.

    As an observer, I think sticking with a crown *works*, but laud your enthusiasm!
