Do price protection credit cards still exist?

I remember when I was a child there was a TV advert for a credit card (I think it was barclaycard) that refunded the difference if you bought something & then within a certain time the price dropped in a sale. Do cards like this still exist?

I had never heard of them but a quick Google search shows plenty of results for them in the USA but none for the UK.0

You are correct. It was Barclaycard.(referred to as 'price promise') I do vaguely remember the adverts.
