Council House and the Wind a Bizarre Question
Comments

I'm at a loss that people believe that can kick up a huge fuss to the council because "it's too windy!".
Jesus Christ!! As mentioned if you hate the Scottish weather then don't live in bloody Scotland!!
Except the OP took offence to that one :rotfl:
I have no idea why as moving would be the most realistic solution to this ridiculous problem.0 -

The local council dictates COUNCIL HOUSE POLICY, the first post the OP states she lives in a COUNCIL house.
More to the point, the horse hasn't just bolted. They're in a different postcode.
Council houses ( I am speaking from the situation in East Ayrshire where I live) are generally ran better - tenants have input in policy decision making on council houses and planned repairs / new developments.
The local councillors have direct communication with the people who manage the council houses (who are also council employees)baldly going on...0 -
The OP could also contact the Scottish Housing Regulator as the council will be a social landlord (and under their influence)
The OP needs to go through the council complaints procedure first

As the landlord the council responsible
Indeed, and it's called CDM.
But as a tenant getting that one to stick... Virtually zero,0 -
