I have been looking to invest £5000 and have found London Capital Finance offering 8% per year for fixed 3 year Bond.
Has anyone saved with this provider and are they ok?

Do a search for them on this board but basically they are not OK. This is not a savings product and you could face 100% capital loss0

Out of interest why aren't you looking to invest in standard stock market investments where the risks are vastly less and can be protected inside a S&S ISA?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

It is not a savings product and they are not a provider (provider is a term used for provision of regulated retail financial products - they do not provide retail financial products).

Disclaimer on their website. https://www.londoncapitalandfinance.co.uk/disclaimer
Investing in the Bonds carries significant risk and you may lose part or all of your investment. Investors should note that repayment of the bonds offered by London Capital & Finance Plc, and the payment of interest on the bonds, depends on the performance of loans made by London Capital & Finance to various small and medium sized borrowers. In the event that these borrowers default on the loans, investors are likely to lose some or all of their investment. Investment in the bonds of London Capital & Finance Plc is therefore speculative and involves a significant degree of risk.
So if you are happy to accept the risk of losing all your investment then go ahead and invest.0 -

Since it was rather wordy I'm not sure how many people will actually read it, but here's the link to it anyway to try and connect some of the LCF threads. But I suggest sticking to the main one rather than reviving old ones.
