Also an idea not to reply to public posts where hundreds (or even thousands) have already responded...0 -
Well its going well, almost everyone in my class has been named and a few have got in touch and some know others who still live local to the area.
A couple of disagreements on who is who.. The one on the left is XX not thats YY. No its def XX.... Amazing how quickly your memory fades.
I may start a page now with all the other classes in my year and then other years.
For some odd reason my year appear to be shy of the internet.
Over 100 friends already, but a couple more from Australia and a few that i think are spammers but not checked yet. A couple I have not clicked accept request yet because i think they wanted to get some spam in before xmas.
Let them wait it out for a few days.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Thanks Broadwave only 18 month too late. I will warn everyone that your site needs to spam other sites so one to avoid.
If you were not in tunnel vision of spam mode, you may have read post 14 where I found a lot of school chums. Since them its really taken off and using my facebook account they have also been in contact with old friends.
Just a couple that I have not found and a couple of faces in the class photo i cannot put a name to.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

With facebook i got tons and tons of friend requests from total strangers and often people not even living in the UK..
Adding friends for the sake of it. Not real friends, which is where FR had the edge, but like most i had not checked the site for some time and lost contact info.
Really? With a fake profile.
I get maybe a few fake requests a year.
What if these people are looking for you,why wouldnt you put your real name to help them?0 -

I have an abject feeling some people don't quite "get" how Facebook works. And you can change whether you want to be found in your Facebook privacy settings in any case.
And most importantly there is absolutely no obligation in any way shape or form to approve or even acknowledge a friend request, you can just ignore them.
People with thousands of friends on Facebook probably accumulate them from work, friends, school, families, birthday parties, marriages, funerals, other social events and pub crawls. If they even talk to 10% of that figure they're doing well. I have 82 friends on my list. I only ever typically interact with about six of them...0
