OMG Worried. Transactions not showing on new Barclaycard!!

So I started using my new Barclaycard yesterday and have bought the following with it:

20th Dec 2016
- Train tickets (using Contactless)
- Lunch at my workplace (using Contactless)
- Groceries at Aldi (using Contactless)

21st Dec 2016
- Lunch at my workplace (using chip & pin)
- Groceries at Tesco (using Contactless)

The ONLY transactions that are showing on my online account however are the lunches at my workplace. I have just spoken with the two people at Barclaycard and they literally said that I must have used another card because they cannot see anything. How the hell can that be when this card is my only Contactless card!!!!!!!!!

I'm super worried now because it feels as though I have paid for goods but cannot see any evidence of these purchases other than the receipts I have from Aldi and Tesco.

What do you guys think I should do? The guys at Barclaycard had no clue! Surely if the transactions take a little time to show online they would have said but no, they have said nothing. Also the two lunches at work transactions are shown as pending. This is really worrying me!!!!!! :mad::(

    I shouldn't worry about it to much, This has happened to my daughter it will show on your account in a few weeks, She also contacted her bank when nothing was showing on her statement

    Been using cash for years and have loved it. The reason I got the card was mainly for shopping online and stuff. Might be going back to cash with this experience though lol!

    Thanks a few weeks seems like a long time though. Isn't the selling point for these things that they are instant?
    They often take a few days to show up

    Card transactions take several days to post to your account.

    What you are seeing, based on the dates of the transactions (yesterday/today!) are them pending. Only the non-contactless ones will show as pending and rarely contactless ones.

    Contactless transactions are done "offline" and as such won't appear pending and will simply appear once posted to the account several days later.

    Absolutely no need to worry, card transactions are not instant.

    Calm down dear! (to quote Michael Winner and David Cameron). I assume this is your first foray into the world of card payments, otherwise you would be well aware that probably the majority of transactions take at least 1 - 2 days to show on your account online, and many will take several days longer, although several weeks is unusual (but certainly not unheard of).

    I think the only credit card company I have used that shows pending contactless transactions is American Express. But it's no big deal. Only takes a few days to post to your account.
