    Hi
I'd Like To Buy The Dvd Of This Rather Than The Download As I'd Like It For My Uni Laptop Rather Than The Computer I'm Writing This Off.
Has Anyone Managed To Get The Dvd? If So,
What Do You Click On During The Purchase Process To Get The Dvd?
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

Don't worry about the DVD. You download an installation file and receive a key by email. Once you've got those, it's up to you where you install it.

    Hi there

Before I commit to this, can anyone provide feedback - good or bad - on software4students please. £53 seems such a good price I can't resist it - yes I was going to buy the student edition anyway but when I can get Office 2007 Professional Plus for this price I may as well go for it. The next cheapest i can find is at www.pugh.co.uk but it's twice this price!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA:T

Out of curiosity, is there any reason why you'd rather pay £53 than the £38 that the offer at the top of the thread is offering?

    Cheers

last time I looked and studied ms access , it was not an accounts package. It fully featured database(with added reporting & programming intergrated) and from my view the most interesting and useful tool in the office suite.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms_access
"Microsoft Access, is a relational database management system with GUI"

Still a very good deal from microsoft for students , They get them young and they will never move to anything else.

If you read earlier in the thread you will see that I did buy from software4students as my son's and daughter's school is registered and I have just bought them a new computer. It arrived safely 3 days later. You only get the disk, no manual or anything. It installed with no problem and we still have the disk as back up with the key. But then most of that is online these days anyway. I would highly recommend them. The only thing to be aware of at the moment is that due to the postal strike you may not get your disk as quick as I did, but that is not their fault! I too was wary of downloading office so went this route and have since recommended it to others.

Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.
  • has anyone been able to get 1 version on 2 machines yet? i want the later addition but need it on both my machines
  • in case any of you are wondering, I have purchased the office ultimate edition plus asked for the dvd copy to be sent and the whole process was great and would thoroughly recommend them.

I am just on the look out for a cheap full version of windows vista now (not upgrade) as I am using linux and I can move over to a fully licensed windows box and save a lot of money too!
  • I looked into that software4students and it seems its not available for University. I need office for my work as this is the system that my university uses on their pcs, can anyone help me out?
