sales call from planet49 comp

If any of you are getting missed calls from 08000927201, its a sales call from planet 49 comp its someone trying to get you to buy lottery tickets in a syndicate.
I dont' know if i've not ticked the right boxes in my haste to enter comps :rolleyes:

Hi,

I have received a call from that number but all the guy did was to make a strange sound, laugh and them turn off the call. I don't understand what was that. Anyway, it is good to know that this is a call that I should reject

Handy to know as I do tend to get sooooo excited when I get a call from a number I don't recognise on my phone!

i just got a call from the same number.. i always worry its the bank when i get these calls!

My friend finds it very funny because i'm always loosing my phone anyone who wants me rings the landline! As a result the phonecalls to my phone should be only comp calls, so far its rung four times and i've got all exited only to get the sales pitch. (two caravan parks, one time share and this one!) I suppose it teaches me for not being extra vigilant for ticking / unticking the right boxes :mad:

One day i WILL get a call to say i've won something :j

thanks lisa-googled it and it led me here i do recognise planet 49 maybe i rgistered with them or something but have removed my number from their database now

Oh my god,i just got a call from planet 49 saying that i have a chance of winning half of a million this dec,i wish!!! but then they were on about lottery tickets,and i agreed with them by giving them my sort code,and account details,oh !!!! im so stupid,but guess what,my account has just been shut down by the back the other day,so i doubt very much they will take any money,hehe!! :j

Grr they are still calling people - the woman got very offended when I said I wasn't interested and asked me why I would say something like that. Anyway they've been added to my reject list so hopefully no more calls from them.

Sorry to hear that your having problems with these still, my tip for getting them off the phone was to tell them you have no bank account! I told them that I was entering competitions for money because I didnt' earn enough to open one! Funny enough they didn't push it!
