Will ovo stop my fixed rate?

As a matter of interest - once I go through MSE to do a recommended switch, will Ovo immediately take me off my fixed rate contract ending Feb 3 and put me onto their basic variable rates until the switch is completed, or leave me on the fixed rate till they complete?

One small caveat. Some of the newer suppliers are not signed up to 17 day switching so they take no action to transfer your supply until after the 14 cooling off period has lapsed. When switching, some suppliers state that they have to be informed of the switch BEFORE the end of the fixed contract term.
