My wife has a sharesave scheme at work. Her 5 year plan is coming to its end shortly. Todays value of the shares is just over £32,000.
My wife has suggested seeking financial advice but just as a matter of interest what can (or can't) we do with the shares.
What would you guys suggest as investment tips if you were in this situation??
Any help would be appreciated............

Your wife is right, I agree you should seek Independent Financial Advice.
If you fail to do this then anything that happens to these shares or the proceeds that is not positive will be all your fault.
You can talk to as many IFAs as you wish until you meet one who meets your needs.
Personally I would sell all the shares and invest the proceeds via two Stock and Shares ISAs (£14K this year) in Managed Funds to suit your risk profile, with the balance in Managed Funds outside the ISA, transferring these in next April.
£32K could be 10 funds with £3.2K into each fund.If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?0
