Microsoft Office 2016

I have now installed Office 2016 on my Windows 10 PC. I expected it to delete Office 2013, but it didn't. It seems to have simply created a new folder for Office 2016 and left the original Office 2013 folder.
Can I simply delete the Office 2013 folder, as I keep reading of potential conflict issues when having both programmes on the same machine ?

You should UN-INSTALL it properly using the program and features icon in control panel.
Willy nilly deleteing the folder could cause you problems as the program uses more than one folder and there are entries in the registry as well.0 -
The easiest solution is to uninstall it - don't just delete the folder.
There are ways of getting two versions of MS Office to co-exist peacefully, but in my opinion they're usually more trouble than they're worth.0
