cold wall and dehumidifier

Hi,

Got a very cold outside wall in my house which especially under out stairs in the kitchen builds up in condensation resulting to mould.
I cant afford to go down the cavity solid wall insulation so i need a in expensive fix or help to eliminate it a bit if possible?

Seen thermal wallpaper which i was told was no good and seen a 500ml dehumidifier for £30 which i was thinking will do the trick because its a small area to cover.

Anyone got any suggestions please to help tackle this which will not cost to much.

Batten, insulation and plasterboard! pretty easy job and if the area is out of sight - you dont have to worry about skimming it. That will sort out your problem.
