Fine cancelled, then back on again

Hello,
I have read through a lot of the threads on here and have not found a similar issue to the one I have. I parked in a Future Inn car-park while went in to take a look around the bar etc. (30mins) as this is a possible wedding venue. However I didn’t realise I needed to get my car registered on site so a few days later I received a letter from New Generation Parking Ltd showing a photograph of my car and a £60 fine or £100 after two weeks.
I e-mailed future inns as this was the advice on some of the threads on here and shortly after I received an e-mailed back apologizing and I was told they would get it cancelled. This was the response I was expecting but then 13 days later someone else from Future Inns had e-mailed me with someone from New Generation Parking Ltd copied in saying I could not be seen on the CCTV and the fine was back on.
Any advice on if they can do this? They have asked for bank statement for any money I spent in the hotel but I not actually purchase anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ludicrous! Unless the pub was utterly deserted how would they know that you could not be seen on the CCTV? They have no idea what you look like.0

If you were not on the CCTV , then the parking co must have got the wrong VRN !!!
how can they have your VRN if you were not there?Save a Rachael

The car park CCTV picked up my vehicle but they are saying the hotel CCTV didnt pick me up. So they are suggesting I did not enter the hotel. I just dont know how they can change their mind almost 2 weeks later0

I would tell them that the CCTV is faulty
either misread a VRN or omitted to see you enter , PS: how do they know your full description?
unless they had seen you , how would they recognise you , or diferenciate you from any other guest/visitor on site that day?Save a Rachael

Ask the pub if they want your business. Put the story on TripAdvisor and Facebook, and write to the Head Office. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

but , how can they say he was not at the venue , they have no description , just a car arriving and leaving
are they saying NOBODY was on site?
the OP must have spoke to someone in that 30 minsSave a Rachael

They are trying to say I used their car park which is meant for customers and I did not enter the hotel.
I thought as they told me it would be cancelled originally which I have the e-mail to prove that they could not then change their mind. Just wondering if i'd have a good argument as on the letters it does mention 'debt collectors' and 'court action' as worst case scenarios. If i do not have an argument i'd rather pay the £60 if it still stands but i just think its so wrong0 -
how have they identified , or not identified you , they have no discription of you?Save a Rachael

You do have a good argument. No matter what the PPC says the only thing that matters is what a judge thinks, and judges are increasingly becoming aware of their scams and finding against them.
Do not be intimidated by toothless DCAs and dishonest solicitors, put up a decent defence in court and they are toast. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
it sounds to me (debt collectors etc) that the email is NOT from the hotel and its from NGP
maybe NGP are charging the company a cancelation fee , and the tight gits won,t pay the ransomSave a Rachael
