    Those are pretty small cars to be doing 30k miles a year in. And the 1.2 diesel might not be much fun on the motorway - take a long test drive if you can.

    Over £400 a month? How does that spread across repairs and depreciation?

    A new car could depreciate that each month in its first year or two. And at 30k a year you maybe needing new tyres etc yearly or more depending on the car and tyre brand..

    If its a lease or new will that be main dealer servicing?
