This telephone company are playing nasty

Hi all
I wont mention this large telephone company on here just yet. I know they snoop on all sorts of forum's

I purchased a tv broadband and telephone package for £ 26.00 a month.
The company now say that I did not purchase this package for the above price but instead agreed to £28.45.pcm.
Yet on on phone bill it clearly states my monthly agreed package is £26.00 a month excluding any calls I make.

This company also failed to provide a service, TV package in the agreed date and continued to charge me for this, in addition to over charging me for items i did not receive and a package I did not purchase.

I spent 5 weeks chasing this company via telephone, emails, on line chat with no luck.

This company is in breech of its own terms and conditions and thus I asked for my contract to be cancelled with no cost to me.
Answer from the company: They cannot do this as I accepted the refunds (money that they took from my account incorrectly). How can a company decide that as they refunded me "my money" that there essentially no longer in breech of contract.

On two occasions we have agreed deadlock, as I want to challenge this and both times the company have agreed Deadlock via email.

They proceeded to ignore our agreement. Instead I receive a emails from said company asking me what I would like to do? and following this, a letter offering me a further £10.00 compensation.

I cannot take this matter further without a deadlock letter and I was hoping someone, if in a similar position, could suggest/ advise.
Thanks

  • I think you need to allow 8 weeks to try and find a resolution with the company before raising it with Ofcom although I can't see if an email is sufficient rather than a letter. Do they agree you're in deadlock or is it you that mentions it?

    Maybe try https://www.resolver.co.uk/
