has anyone ever tried to replace the battery cells?

I have been looking for videos or tutotials but haven't seem to find any.

I ordered a DC44 off ebay (second hand). Previous owner says everything works. However being such an old model I am expecting the battery to have seen better days and not last as long as stated. So was looking for a guide to prepare me to change out the cells.

I could buy an aftermarket £30 battery, but these have chinese [cheap grade] cells that dont last very long. I want to put in some sanyo/samsung cells in.
