Log on problem with Accountunity

I've been using Accountunity for some time with few problems but for the last few days I cannot get into my Halifax account.
I can log on if I go to the Halifax site but my details are not transferring from Accountunity. When I go via that - the account always sticks at 'navigating. Please wait..' although at that point I can manually input my details and that allows me to log on.
I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem.

I don't have any problems with Halifax. I have a number of suggestions:
From time to time Halifax (and Lloyds and TSB) mess about with some certificates for their Marketing. I get a pop-up message when that happens, and I let it install the certificate, after which normal processing resumes. Do you perhaps have a pop-up blocker that prevents you from seeing it?
What happens if you click on the "Navigating...please wait"? Sometimes there are some messages that you need to click away. I always get this with TD Direct.
Have you tried cleaning cookies and browsing history?
What happens if you test the connection in your Profile?
BTW, I have a totally different problem atm. I managed to lock myself out of Accountunity altogether, by apparently mistyping my password too often. I now need to wait on their support to get in touch, and they aren't very quick to respond. It's a right old PITA, so be very careful when typing your password0 -
Thanks for your reply, colsten. I've been going through your points one by one.
I don't have a pop-up blocker on internet explorer - I only use internet explorer for Accountunity.
Nothing happens when I click on navigating. please wait.
I have cleared my cookies and browsing history.
When I click on test connection, I get the Halifax screen - the message moves from connecting, to navigating, but then nothing. Just sticks at navigating with the cursor in the box for my user name. At the bottom of the screen something is happening - it shows 4 items downloading - too fast to read details, but nothing happens and it just sticks at navigating. When I manually add my details I can log in but the message still sticks at navigating all through my session.
I'm just stumped now. It worked until 14/12.
In the meantime I have remembered that I have a log in for BOS which shows Halifax too - I didn't need to add both to Accountunity. I have added BOS to my list of accounts and that loads ok. So I am alright for the moment.

I've been having the same problem recently, logging on via Internet Banking Plus - I deleted and updated my security details for Halifax - Eureka - it now works!0

Strange that both of you had these problems with Halifax, but good to hear you are both back in business.
ewise support was very quick fixing my login problem, and I am now up and running again. I have no probs with Halifax, or any of the other ones I have in my profile. Might be worth emailing them to tell them about your issue. Their email address is at the bottom of your account list.0 -
Whatever happened to ewise's accountunity revamp ?
I still have the email from them saying it was to be ready in early 2016.0 -
I had that email too. I asked just recently where the new version was and they said it will become available next year. They wouldn't say when next year, so I am not holding my breath. Still, limping along on the IE version is still a great deal better than having to log into each account manually.
This is the email, from October 2015!

Co-op never works for me, it'll login automated and reach the screen with balances, but accountunity stays at navigating and never completes.0

Same here, always needed manual intervention, which was fine by me as I don't use Coop a lot. But now it's stopped completely because Coop must have changed their site again. I have reported it to ewise support a few days ago.0

yeah admittedly I have a small amount in there as I just have it for the everyday rewards, still, would be nice if it worked. I've emailed them too.0
