Waitrose PCN

Hi All,
My girlfriend managed to pick up a PCN today for overstaying in a Waitrose car park in Salisbury, think she was way over time and also has no receipts to show she was shopping.
The PCN was stuck to the window, from Britannia.
I've sent her over to Waitrose to speak to the manager who said he will try to get it cancelled but can't guarantee anything. With that in mind should she just leave it now and wait to see if she hears anything further from Britannia?
If she does hear from them what would be the best course of action?
Thanks,
Ed

The NEWBIES thread is the complete guide but you did right to send her to the Waitrose manager in the first instance.

Hi Northlakes, I've read the newbies thread. I'm just not sure whether it's best to just leave things now and hope the manger gets it cancelled or if I should still tell her to appeal in 26 days?0

keep pressurising MANAGE (not help desk) she should have photocopied ticket and written her email on it and asked for email conformation , waitrose hire those idiots as employees of waitrose they have to do what they are told , ie: cancel it ,
if no response at day 26 , appealSave a Rachael

Just to reinforce the what is stated in the NEWBIES thread. Not disclosing the name of the driver is very important.
Brittania are BPA members so POPLA is available.
Does the PCN refer to POFA 2012 holding the keeper liable?
Look at other Brittania threads on here and Pepipoo so you know how they operate.
They don't state on their website that they are BPA members for example.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0
