Moving direct debits before switching

Options
Hi everyone.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did try "search this forum" for "direct debits" but didn't come up with anything that answered my question.

A few years ago I had a Nationwide Flex account. When it ran out of time and stopped giving me 5% interest, I stopped using it but didn't close it. It's been sitting there with £3.15 in it for ages. I'd now like to use it to switch to M&S to get the switching bonus, but that means it needs to have 2 active direct debits. I have a couple of small direct debits to charities that come out of my Halifax reward account at the moment. I'd like to move them to the Nationwide so that I'll be able to get the bonus for using the switching service to close my Nationwide account and open an M&S one. I don't want to move anything else away from Halifax. What's the best/quickest/easiest way to get just those two direct debits moved, please?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
:)

Call the charities involved and give them the Nationwide details.
