    Depends if it was one that was affected. Not all Hotpoint dryers manufactured between 2004 - 2015 had the safety recall.


    So you need to determine if it was one that was affected, and take it from there.

    If you don't know, or it wasn't, then you have very little to no chance of getting anywhere.
